All measurements for each item can be found by simply clicking on the SIZE GUIDE tab in each product.
If in doubt with regards to sizing, please do not hesitate to email us. You can also send us your child's clothing measurements and we will be happy to advise on the size you may need.
How our guides work
The measurements in our guides are of the actual items and NOT the body, so it is best to measure your child's current clothing (eg. shirt, trousers, in inches or cm) and then compare with our measurements to give you an accurate size. If you do measure the body, please remember to allow extra for movement, comfort etc.
Formal suits are made differently to normal wear, as each manufacturer and child varies in size (4 & 5 piece suits can be made more generous). You should select a size based on the approximate suit measurements and not necessarily based solely on the size they are wearing now for normal everyday wear.
If it is impossible for you to take measurements, we would recommend you purchase a size smaller than the size they are currently wearing for normal wear. This is based on the child being average size for their age purchasing a 5 piece suit.
Measurements provided are of the actual dress eg chest, waist & length, so will always be slightly bigger than the body measurement. It is highly recommended that you measure the length of the child and then compare with the length measurements in the size guide as each manufacturer and child varies in size. A lot of older girls dresses are made more generous in length to allow for adjustment if needed (this will be stated in the individual item's size guide tab).
Measurements provided are of the outside sole of the shoe. We provide an average age based on UK sizing but we do not recommend you purchase based purely on this as each child's foot measurement can vary for their age. Please remember that each high street shoe manufacturer varies with their shoe sizes so please ensure you measure the child's foot / shoe and compare with our measurements.
The sizes on socks are always made based on shoe sizing eg if your child is currently wearing infant size 7 shoes, they will need size 6-8.5 socks. EU measurements are also shown on each pair of socks.
